Kane Williamson has played for Yorkshire previously and was also the part of the squad which won the County Championship in 2014. He was thrilled to join the same team once again and was keen to create some unforgettable memories with his teammates. It’s great to be back. I’ve had a couple of years where I haven’t been able to come back to play for a number of reasons, so it’s great to have the opportunity to come back for a couple of months to play for Yorkshire, which is a fantastically proud club. I’ve got a lot of fond memories here, a lot of friendships,” he was quoted as saying by The Press.

He also praised the crowd of Yorkshire as they are very passionate and was confident of enjoying the game during his stint with the Club. “The supporters are very, very passionate. It’s a fortunate place to play your cricket given the way they treat the game and the crowds we’re able to get. They get right behind their team in all formats, which is nice,” the 27-year-old added.
